Importance of Communication skills for engineers

"Communication skills are an essential component in the education of engineering students to facilitate not just student's education but also to prepare them for their future careers."
Marc Riemer, Faculty of Engineering, Monash University (2007)

I believe that there is good and bad communication skills. Having good communication skills means that one is able to impart information clearly to another, Having bad communication skills means that when one speaks about a certain information, the other may understand partially or not. A professor with a good communication skills can inspire students to learn from the way he/she speaks to better improve their communication skills. This will help them to improve their communications skills when they work in their future careers with regards to communicating with people or presenting to people.
